Celebrated the new year with our good friends Pat and Bill and their daughter Jane and her friend at their home. Lovely bbq, a few drinks and standing outside to toast in the new year and count the satelites as they passed overhead. We spent a very comfortable night in their lovely caravan and returned home the next day. Thanks for having us stay guys and for making the time so enjoyable.

Not sure exactly where you are located but hope you are not affected by the floods!

Hi Clara, thank you for your concern, we are quite safe here, most flooding in Tasmania occurred on the east coast area, we are more central north thank goodness. Those poor people on the mainland.. Can only imagine how devastating and heartbreaking it has been for them all. I am so pleased that most of my family and friends are located in Tassie. Those that are on the mainland are in areas unaffected by the floods. Thank goodness my sister and her family relocated here from Toowoomba some years back. It was just so horrifying the scenes from there. How is the weather where you are located Clara? Nothing like here i do hope?
